Christmas Eve

Our Christmas Eve Day was full of painting at the new house we finally got water out there on the 24th. So as you can see we opened gifts before we got ready for church we are in our work cloths yet. We didn't have many presents to open because about 3years ago we decided that Gage would get 3 gifts just as the wise men gave to baby Jesus. Gage doesn't mind and it helps us to stay to a limit and remember that we are celebrating the birth of Jesus. We had a great Christmas and I hope you all did as well. We are moving everything tomorrow so I'm sure I will not be on the blog for a while, Take care everyone and have a safe New years! Happy Birthday Jesus:)

Tooo fast, they grow too fast!!

Tony took Gage to town to do both of there Christmas shopping tonight. They had a list and it look them a whopping 2 hours. How do they do that? They also had to get Gage new basketball shoes we can not keep anything on him right now he is growing so fast. Gage's new shoe's are a men's size 9 how crazy is that. And the other day I bought Gage some new jeans and I bought a 32X32 jean. It is a trip to watch this cool kid grow into a cool young man. And no I will not be posting my size of jeans or Tony's. Our new Kitchen floor!

Here is the start of the kitchen floor. We had a long night last night so we need to finish today. It took forever just to get all the staples up and clean the floor. Tony and Gage are doing a great job on the floor they have a rhythm going now so the rest should go pretty well. I did try to help with the floor, but I made it worse so I found painting that needed to be done. :)

Gage and his Sax

Gage really likes his Sax and is sounding great. It is nice to see him enjoying music. When he picked out a instrument last year I said pick what you want I wanted him to be excited about it. I went to Lindner music to buy a Sax, Holy cats he picked out the most expensive instrument! But it was all worth it he plays really well and likes it a lot.

Painting

Here is a little of the painting we did in the new house and some of the many colors we used in the house. It was a fun time, my sisters and my mom came up to help we had a blast. Ronita and Amy added a little extra flare to some rooms for me they are so creative. I love it!

The Summit School had a food drive for the Salvation Army. They made it a competition and the group with the most food collected was able to take all the items collected to the Salvation Army and have a pizza party(thanks to the Heuer Family that paid for the party) . The Group that won was the 4th ,5th and 6th grades. They collected 455 items. The whole school collected 1200 items isn't that great. Summit really has a great bunch of kids.
